LEVEL  2 PADDLE: You should be accredited to ‘Paddle Australia Basic Skills’ or have an equivalent level of experience.

SUITABLE CRAFT: Level 2 paddles are deigned to be suitable by bot sit-on -top and sit-in kayaks with a minimum length of 3.6 Metres.

FACILITATOR: Melissa Mathieson

WEATHER FORECAST: Morning commences with gentle westerly breeze. Swings to easterly of increasing strength after 10 am Tide: Low tide about 8am and then incoming medium range flow.

A unique trip from Deerubbun Reserve to circumnavigate both Dangar and Spectacle Island.  We SHOULD (v.dangerous term, rarely eventuates) head down to Dangar Island against a light tide; take a break at the beach near the cafe, and then complete the circumnavigation.  Ride the rising tide to the north side of Spectacle Island and then return to base.
