The Viking Rod Tip Protector attaches to the bow of your kayak allowing you to slide the tip of your fishing rod under it. This keeps it protected when coming back in through surf where there’s a chance of capsizing and damaging unprotected rods. Self tapping screws are provided if required but the protectors can fit under the front bungee on the Reload if required.
